“A poem wants to change a perspective on the world. That is its ambition: An Interview with Pat Boran.”
SINCERE THANKS to Melania Terrazas Gallego of the University of La Rioja, Logroño for this extended interview, recently published in The Brazilian Journal of Irish Studies/ABEI and available for download in PDF format for anyone who might be interested.

(The photograph, as it happens, is of one of a number of striking inlays in a small square in Logroño which, among other things, depict its history and evolution as a significant stopover on the Camino de Santiago or Way of St James. Whether crossing half of Europe or, as must of us now are, confined in our travels to a radius of 5K, many of us are newly in tune with the whole idea of pilgrimage, its counselling of slow but steady progress, its invitation to take in the beauty of the natural world even as we toil.)
